Grants by the Future Foundation of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank
Vaduz, 4 December 2020. The public-benefit Future Foundation of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) is again supporting 24 institutions with grants this year. These institutions work in the social field in Liechtenstein.
Support for 24 institutions
The LLB has been awarding grants for 43 years. Since 2011, the contributions have been paid through the Future Foundation, which was established to mark the 150th anniversary of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank.
Because of the coronavirus, the Future Foundation had to do without the traditional event this year to symbolically present the award cheques. "The work of the social organisations in Liechtenstein plays an especially important role in 2020. Our everyday life is dealing with extraordinary pressures. We are all the more thankful to those who make a contribution to alleviating these difficult times," says Roland Matt, Chairman of the Foundation Board of the Future Foundation and Group CEO of the LLB Group, in his thank-you letter to the institutions receiving the grants. The total amount of the grants awarded in 2020 is about 85'000 Swiss Francs.
Commitment to society and the environment
The Future Foundation not only supports social organisations in Liechtenstein, but also promotes future-oriented social and environmental projects. Over the past ten years, the Future Foundation has awarded more than 190 grants and made more than 60 contributions to project funding.
