LLB AG: Resignation of Chairman of the Board of Directors Georg Wohlwend
Vaduz, 4 November 2020. Georg Wohlwend has decided to resign as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank AG (LLB). His decision is due to criminal proceedings against him that are unrelated to his work at the LLB Group.
Georg Wohlwend firmly denies the allegations. To avoid any burden on the LLB, he has informed the Board of Directors of his resignation. The Board of Directors takes note of this decision with great regret. Georg Wohlwend is resigning from the Board of Directors with immediate effect. Vice Chairwoman Gabriela Nagel-Jungo is assuming his responsibilities effective 4 November 2020.
Georg Wohlwend has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the LLB AG since 2017. The LLB would like to thank him for his extraordinary efforts on behalf of the company. He contributed substantially to the successful implementation of the ongoing strategy, StepUp2020. The LLB wishes Georg Wohlwend all the best for the future.
