Grants by the Future Foundation of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank
Vaduz, 10 December 2018. On Monday evening, the annual grant event of the public-benefit Future Foundation of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank took place on the premises of the "müze" mothers' centre in Schaan. Representatives of the 22 beneficiary institutions from Liechtenstein were invited to the official funding event.
22 institutions recognised for their work
The LLB has been awarding grants for 41 years. Since 2011, the contributions have been paid through the Future Foundation, which was established to mark the 150th anniversary of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank. At the event, which included a symbolic presentation of cheques to the beneficiary institutions, a toast was raised to their past and future work:
"Each individual institution assumes great social responsibility in its own way and in its own field: Each performs important work for our country and the people, creates a network, and helps where there is a need. We want to honour this in the proper way," said Roland Matt, Chairman of the Foundation Board of the Future Foundation and CEO of the LLB Group, in his words of thanks to this year's grant recipients.
Responsibility to society and the environment
The Future Foundation not only supports social organisations in Liechtenstein, but also promotes future-oriented social and environmental projects. Over the past eight years, the Future Foundation has contributed a total of over CHF 1 million through more than 140 grants and 50 contributions to project funding.
