LLB Summer in the Courtyard – summer concerts

Great music, excellent atmosphere, and a great audience – that's what distinguishes our popular concert series LLB Summer in the Courtyard.

Since 1996, a wide range of concerts and events have taken place in the inner courtyard of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank in Vaduz under the title of "Summer in the Courtyard". We give renowned, but also still unknown, bands from the region the opportunity to present themselves to a larger audience in a special ambience.

This will be LLB Summer in the Courtyard 2018

It's time again for five open-air concerts with a varied programme, running from 29 June to 5 July 2018. Regional musicians will perform a wide range of genres in the inner courtyard, generating plenty of rhythm and style in the open air.

LLB Summer in the Courtyard 2018 programme

  • Friday, 29 June 2018: Rääs (dialect rock)
  • Saturday, 30 June 2018: Cobana (pop/soul)
  • Sunday, 1 July 2018: Martina Breznik Jazz Band (jazz)
  • Wednesday, 4 July 2018: Karisma (dialect pop/soul)
  • Thursday, 5 July 2018: The Monroes (rock 'n' roll)

Each concert starts at 8.30 p.m.

On Saturday, 30 June, the big band formation Cobana will set the pace with music across all genres. Whether music for relaxed head-nodding, groove, or fat beats with crisp horns – audiences are enthusiastic about the Eastern Swiss entertainment, dance, and concert band. The band's current programme offers Latin, soul, pop, and R&B classics and gives centre stage to its vocalists.

The weekend will be rounded off on the evening of Sunday, 1 July, with the Martina Breznik Jazz Band. The jazz quintet strives to bring down the stress levels of its audiences with jazzy sounds. The mixing of instrumental sound and the voice of singer Martina Breznik results in different timbres that guarantee an evening that's one of a kind.

On Wednesday, July 4, the dialect soul band Karisma will kick off the second half of the festival. Karisma performs only its own music, breaking the boundaries of soul with refreshing elements of pop, rock, and jazz. The result is music that you feel with every fibre of your being.

The Monroes will sound the final chords on Thursday, 5 July, with rock 'n' roll of the 50s and 60s. Four ties, two guitars, a double bass, a drum set, and four voices make the audience dance, sing, and celebrate. The music of this Vorarlberg band is straight-shooting, uncompromising, earthy, and raw. With their current single "Drink to that", they celebrate the good times with their fans at the end of the summer festival.

Free open-air musical pleasure
